De Sterke Peer Triatlon op zaterdag 12 augustus 2017 geldt als selectiewedstrijd voor Age-group atleten die willen deelnemen aan het Europees Kampioenschap Sprint Triatlon te Glasgow (9-11 augustus 2018) of het Wereldkampioenschap Sprint Triatlon te Gold Coast, Australië in 2018. Van elke 5-jarige leeftijdsgroep kunnen de eerste vijf atleten in de uitslag van de Sterke Peer Triatlon aanspraak maken op een startplaats op bovenvermeld EK of WK. Ook op het BK Sprint Triatlon te Vilvoorde op 9 juli zijn er startplaatsen te verdienen. Schrijf je snel in voor de Sterke Peer Triatlon. Er zijn nog maar 50 plaatsen over!

Clan Hunaerts is the opening act of the afterparty on Saturday. Continued by the Magical Flying Thunderbirds. Als on Sunday, the tent will be set on fire. Dj Licious with his beats will take care of the incredible athmosphere. It's a great finale of the Sportoase Triathlon Festival 2017!

Op zondag zal Wuustwezel in de ban zijn van triatlon. De European sprint triatlon vindt plaats in hartje Wuustwezel op zondag 13 augustus. Enkele wereldtoppers zullen hier aan de start staan. Hierbij vragen we om jullie hulp.
